Casino Dealers Suspected of Illegal Sports Betting
WASHINGTON — As reported by the News Tribune: “Two employees of
Luciano’s Casino & Waterfront Ristorante have been arrested as part of
an investigation of illegal sports betting at the Tacoma card room.
“Luong Lam, 38, and Randy Lizama, 23, were booked into Pierce County
Jail on suspicion of first-degree professional gambling. Lizama also was
suspected of first-degree cheating. They appeared Monday in Pierce

Luciano’s has suspended Lam and Lizama, and they could be fired
depending on the outcome of the case, Hilger said Monday.
“`Luciano’s management has a zero tolerance policy and practice
regarding any illegal activity at our casino,’ Hilger said. ‘Such
activity has not been and will not be tolerated.’
